If your severe impairment meets or equals a listed impairment, you will likely qualify for Social Security Disability (SSD) or Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits. 5. Digestive system — Liver disease, bowel disorders and other intestinal issues
6. Genitourinary impairments — Including neuropathy, osteoporosis and renal function impairments
7. Hematological disorders — Anemia, sickle cell disease and other blood disorders
8. Skin disorders — Such as dermatitis, burns, genetic photosensitivity disorders and other chronic skin infections
9. Endocrine disorders — Such as thyroid and adrenal gland disorders
10. Congenital disorders — Disorders that affect multiple body system
11. Neurological disorders — Including epilepsy, cerebral palsy, Parkinson’s and other spinal or muscular disorders
12. Mental disorders — Including intellectual, anxiety, personality and affective disorders
13. Malignant neoplastic diseases — Including leukemia, lymphoma and soft tissue tumors
14. Immune system disorders — Such as lupus, HIV and other immune deficiency disorders

If you do not meet or equal a Listing you likely will need to show that you have a residual functional capacity that precludes all gainful employment.
